Propel #LetsGetUgly Festival

This weekend was an ugly one!  As in super sweaty, super fun #letsgetugly Propel CoLabs Festival!  Two days of endless fitness classes combined with musical guests and enough electrolytes to keep you on your toes for more fitness festivities.  I loved being surrounded by my peers in the industry!  Everyone from Gunnar Peterson, Harley Pasternak, Kaisa, Nicole Winhoffer and others were all together taking classes, sweating and smiling!  You can’t help but smile when you are working out and feeling strong!  All proceeds from this event are going to GIRLS ON THE RUN.  If you don’t know about this nonprofit- it is one of my favorites and dear to my heart and this is from their website:

Girls on the Run® is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to creating a world where every girl knows and activates her limitless potential and is free to boldly pursue her dreams.

Meeting twice a week in small teams, we teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons and running games. The curriculum is taught by certified Girls on the Run coaches and includes three parts: understanding ourselves, valuing relationships and teamwork and understanding how we connect with and shape the world at large.

Running is used to inspire and motivate girls, encourage lifelong health and fitness, and build confidence through accomplishment. Important social, psychological, and physical skills and abilities are developed and reinforced throughout the program. At each season’s conclusion, the girls and their running buddies complete a 5K running event which gives them a tangible sense of achievement as well as a framework for setting and achieving life goals. The result—making the seemingly impossible, possible, and teaching girls that they can.

For more information on Girls On The Run, check out their website https://www.girlsontherun.org/

Musical guest Big Boi supplied the perfect beat for Prevails boxing class.  Flybarre worked my tush with the best angles that made me chant to myself “no pain, no gain!”  Barrys bootcamp did a mashup with Vixen dance which was a fun change of pace!  Instead of treadmill running, the cardio portion was choreographed dance!  I loved it!  Tone House brought out my competitive side!  I always joke, “don’t judge me by my resting gym face!’  This class was a blast of speed and agility work, plus tone work with a towel.  If you follow me on Instagram, you know I love to do workouts around my house using a towel!  Each class brought the community together with no judgement, all levels welcome!  What I love about being a trainer in the fitness industry is bringing people together to better themselves with no fear of failure.  This weekend was exactly that!

The entire festival was a blast!  I had so much fun taking every class I could and I can not wait for the next event!  I guarantee I will be sore tomorrow but will love it!

Propel water gives your workouts a boost!  With 9 flavors and original, you will get electrolytes, vitamin B, vitamin C and E all with no added calories!  Hydrate, replenish, workout!  Repeat!

Thank you so much to https://propelcolabs.sched.com for letting me get ugly with you this weekend! #LetsGetUgly #Sponsored
